DEVIL INDISGUISE

A screening and conversation, between one festival and the next.

Six months after Season 11 and six months before the next premiere, a screening: Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy, presented by SeriesFest, followed by a conversation with the creative team. A powerful exploration of how storytelling can confront darkness while revealing deeper truths about justice, psychology, and human nature.

The Cable Center's atrium in Denver, a Cable Hall of Fame wall on the left and a tall lit SeriesFest signage tower on the right carrying the Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy event card and its sponsor row.

What the team offered afterwards was the craft underneath it — how structure, tone, and perspective shape what an audience understands. It's the reason we keep coming back to organizations like SeriesFest: they elevate great storytellers, and they make space for the conversations that matter.

The festival's programming runs year-round, and the next stop was already on the calendar that night: Season 12, the following May.
